Samba in Waiblingen

On the 23rd of November the time had come. The Giovane Elber Foundation organized a jubilee gala in the beautiful Waiblingen on the occasion of its 25th anniversary. For our lucky winner Berthold and his wife, this dream came true. The loyal FC Bayern fans could meet their football idol in person and experience a wonderful evening together with him at the gala. The costs for arrival and hotel were covered by VIPrize.

Berthold and his wife were invited as guests of honor and participated in a "Come Together" before the actual event started. Niko Kappel, Olympic champion at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro in the shot put, Germany's world-class fencer Monika Sozanzka, but also politicians were present. Giovane took a lot of time for our winners to take souvenir photos with them. A great beginning of the evening!

Then finally the charity gala started. The presenter of the evening was the well-known sports host Michael Antwerpes, who guided the guests through the event with his funny humor.

An amazing program was put into action. A breathtaking show, with Brazilian samba dancers, acrobatic capoeira fighters, the Brazilian choir Encanto or the modern dance dancer Bethania Joaquinho. A children's dance group makes their connection to street children in Brazil. Musically, the spirited singer Nice Ferreira rounded off the evening with her unique voice. Samba in Waiblingen!

The donations from Berthold and all other participants went to the Giovane Elber Foundation. Marked by Giovane Elber's own childhood and education, he does not want to accept the misery of street children. He wants to give them a chance to live a decent life.

Thank you Berthold for the great support for the good cause.

With your donation, you have made a great contribution to the support of disadvantaged children and adolescents!
