SolidarMed is the Swiss organization for health in Africa and improves the health care of 1.5 million people in Lesotho, Moçambique, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Zambia. SolidarMed strengthens the existing medical offer sustainably and expands it meaningfully. The health of mothers, newborns and children is a key concern and receives special attention in projects. In cooperation with local partner organizations, hospitals and village communities, SolidarMed promotes "help for self-help".
