Cancer affects us all - stick together now!

  • Exercise and a healthy diet: we explain how everyone can reduce their cancer risk
  • When life is upside down: We are there to support cancer patients and their relatives
  • Early detection saves lives: We motivate people to have regular checks that can save lives
  • Cancer makes you poor: We help people in financial need, for example if they don't have the money for a warm winter coat or a trip to the doctor
  • Children suffer too: We give courage and comfort when parents fall ill with cancer

When Lisa was diagnosed with breast cancer, she was 38. Two small children, a full-time job, full steam ahead – but suddenly everything came to a standstill. What helped her was not just the medicine. It was someone who listened. Who explained to her what she was
facing. Who showed her that she was not alone. This is exactly where the Krebsverband Baden-Württemberg e. V. (Baden-Württemberg Cancer Association) comes in.

For over 50 years, the association has been supporting those affected – with free advice, practical help and a strong network of self-help, medicine and politics. For many people, this support is a lifeline in one of the most difficult times of their lives.

With your donation, you give people like Lisa strength. Courage. Life.

Every contribution makes a difference.

‘Our work begins where others often stop – with the people themselves.’ – Ulrika Gebhardt, Managing Director of the Baden-Württemberg Cancer Association.
