WINNER ERIK RECEIVES HIS NEW RACING BIKE AT HANSGROHE HEADQUARTERS

It was a day that our winner Erik from Niesetal will never forget.

Together with his buddy Nils, he was able to visit the hansgrohe HQ in Schiltach in the Black Forest on 30.03.2023. As the winner of the Golden Bike fundraising campaign for Viva con Agua, he was invited to an exclusive event for the handover of the dream bike.

Erik was warmly welcomed by CEO Hans-Jürgen Kalmbach, Johannes Tomczak from Viva con Agua, Brand Pearls and VIPrize at the hansgrohe Aquademie reception.

A great event location was set up for the experience and then it started right away! Hans-Jürgen Kalmbach gave a welcome speech at the beginning.

Then it was finally time for Erik to receive his Golden Bike. A Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL7 road bike in hansgrohe Polished Gold look - WOW!

Inspired by the success of BORA - hansgrohe athlete Matthew Walls at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, hansgrohe developed this special road bike with its cycling partners - an absolute one-off! Erik was overjoyed and beamed with joy.

Afterwards, there was a very enlightening and moving presentation by Viva con Agua about the WASH project in Uganda, where the donations from the joint charity action will also help. Definitely an exciting insight into the charitable work of Viva con Agua, who work for clean drinking water worldwide.

Then came the guided tour of the hansgrohe Aquademie. Erik and Nils were given great insights into the company's product portfolio and latest technologies and designs. They were thrilled by the innovations and the high standards that hansgrohe sets for quality and sustainability.

To round off the day, there was a delicious lunch at Chez Hans with a great buffet that left nothing to be desired.

All in all, it was an unforgettable experience for Erik and we say thank you for your great support! A big thank you also goes to all the partners of the campaign - Hansgrohe, BORA hansgrohe and Brand Pearls - for the great cooperation.
