MACHE DIESEN MOVEMBER DEN UNTERSCHIED
- More than 500,000 men take his own life each year worldwide. That's one man per minute.
- Men have worse long-term health problems than women and die on average six years earlier.
- More than 300,000 men worldwide die of prostate cancer each year. By 2022, the number of men suffering from it will increase by 50%.
- The testicular cancer rate has doubled in the last 50 years.
The current state of men's health is in crisis. On average, men die six years younger than women. This is not good news and we need to talk about it and do something about it.
Movember, once known as "November," launches its 2017 campaign and encourages men (Mo Bros) and women (Mo Sistas) to sign up and participate, to raise funds for men's health, and to do something about men being too young to die.
Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are dealing with this health crisis. If we do not talk about it, become active and donate, nothing will change. How to help:
GROW A MO, SAVE A BRO - The mustache is the insignia of the Movember Foundation. Mo Bros use it as a walking billboard for men's health and to raise funds.
Sign up to grow a mustache for 30 days. Would you like to go one step further with your Mo? Sacrifice your beard, auction your face to the most generous donor or dye your Mo in a different color every day. Get creative to attract attention and raise funds.
