FANTASTIC BIKE HANDOVER AT THE UCI MOUNTAIN BIKE WORLD CUP IN CRANS MONTANA

Antoine from Gien, France, and his wife Charlotte could hardly believe their luck when they found out that they were the proud winners of a Cape Epic Special Edition Scott Spark RC MTB. The same happened to Thomas from Noale near Venice, Italy, who had won the Cape Epic Special Edition Lapierre XR MTB. Both winners were in for an unforgettable weekend at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Crans Montana.

On Saturday, June 22, the time had finally come. Antoine and Thomas met in the exclusive paddock area of the SCOTT SRAM Racing MTB team, where they were greeted by none other than Nino Schurter himself. The Lapierre Mavic Unity racing team was also on hand with Sebastian Fini to present Thomas with his dream bike. The joy was overwhelming for both winners - they were speechless and overjoyed to receive their dream bikes. In addition to the personal handover of the bikes, numerous souvenir photos were taken to capture this special moment forever.

In addition to handing over the MTBs, Antoine and Thomas were able to experience the spectacular MTB event in Crans Montana live for two days. The race itself was a highlight: in difficult conditions, Nino Schurter fought his way to an impressive 4th place and was thus able to further improve his overall ranking. The men's team from SCOTT SRAM Racing was even named "Team of the Day". Antoine and Thomas were able to experience the atmosphere and excitement up close and met other MTB stars such as Tom Pidcock, who will be competing in the Tour de France again this year, and Kate Courtney from the SCOTT SRAM Racing Team.

Antoine, Charlotte and Thomas enjoyed their stay in a beautiful hotel in Crans Montana. Throughout the weekend, they were enchanted by the hospitality and the spectacular scenery. Meeting the pros and taking part in such a high-caliber event made the experience unforgettable.

In addition to all the fun and excitement, this event also had a charitable component. All donations were given to World Bicycle Relief. This organization is committed to providing bicycles to developing regions around the world to improve access to education, healthcare and economic opportunities.

We would like to thank you, Antoine and Thomas, for your great donation and hope that you will never forget this weekend.
